For Wendy Webster Good, painting has always been about capturing a sense of place.
Based in Kennebunkport, Maine, Wendy finds inspiration in the working waterfronts, quiet harbors, winding rivers, and ever-changing coastline that surround her. From sailboats gently resting in the harbor to historic inns, coastal cottages, and iconic Maine landscapes, every watercolor reflects her lifelong appreciation for New England’s natural beauty.
Her artistic journey began at an early age under the guidance of her mother, also an accomplished watercolor artist, who introduced her to both the techniques of watercolor and the joy of observing everyday beauty. Today, Wendy continues that tradition while bringing her own distinctive style to each piece she creates.
When she isn’t painting, you’ll often find Wendy boating along the Maine coast or skiing during the winter months—experiences that continually inspire new collections and fresh perspectives.
In addition to creating original paintings, Wendy designs four annual watercolor calendars enjoyed by collectors across the country and welcomes visitors year-round to her Kennebunkport gallery, where every piece tells a story of coastal Maine.
